|
Delmar V. “Del” Gehl, Loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa - Age 82, of Stillwater passed away surrounded by his family on January 22, 2013. Delmar was born July 15th, 1930 in Fulda, MN to Harry and Ann (Miller) where he grew up on the family farm. He served in the United States Air Force from 1950-1954. He married Joyce Meyer on January 16th, 1955 in Fulda. He worked for 30 years for Sperry Univac/Unisys. He had an interest in genealogy and was a herdsman on the family's hobby farm. Preceded in death by parents, sister Myrna and great grandchild Abrielle. Survived by wife of 58 years, Joyce; children, Veryl (Sandra) and Todd (Wendy); granddaughter, Sarah; grandson, Randy; grandson, Justin Teske; great grandchildren, Nolan and Amelia Teske; sister, Elaine (Romanus) Koopmann; sister-in-law, Twyla (Wayne) Franzen and brother-in-law, Maynard (Sandra) Meyer. Memorial Service was held on Saturday, January 26, 11 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, 14940 62nd Street North, Stillwater. |
