Marlys Buss and Douglas Luehman were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony on February 2nd at Immanuel American Lutheran Church.
Mr. and Mrs. William Leinen observed their golden wedding anniversary on January 30th.
Mr. and Mrs. John Brehmer will note their golden wedding anniversary on Sunday.
Friends of Mrs. Estel Wickenhagen of Meriden, Iowa will be sorry to hear of the death of her husband last Tuesday. Burial was held on Friday.
Fred Techau died in Sioux Falls on February 3rd. rites were held here on February 5th.
Raymond Kelly died in California after suffering a sudden heart attack on January 25th.
Old friends of Mrs. Carl Carey (Nellie Deutschman) will be grieved to hear of her sudden death on Friday. Rites were held in Windom on Monday.
Mrs. Lena Breese died after a long illness at the age of 73 years old on January 30th.
Don Jorgensen appeared on a TV show on Sunday evening in Mankato. The program was called “Here's How.”
Rites were held for Mrs. Catherine Haberman, 80, on Wednesday.

The Fulda City Council members voted to suspend the duties of Police Officer Tom LeTourneau pending an investigation of complaints rendered against him.
Clem Smith asked the council for permission to draw plans for a kitchen to be built in the Fulda Center for use in preparing hot meals.
The Fulda Boys Scout Troop 123 participated in a Klondike Derby at Shetek Scout Camp on Saturday.
The combined choirs of the Presbyterian Church and Immanuel American Church will hold a Cantata next Sunday.
Mary Heger and Robert Sejnoha announce their engagement. A May 14th wedding is planned.
Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Sauer are proud to announce the arrival of their daughter, Erin Leslie, born January 22 in Worthington. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Thiner and Mr. and Mrs. William Sauer.

Henry L. Jarmer passed away at his home in Dundee on February 6th at the age of 71 years old.

ECFE tots enjoyed a visit to the dentist office where Dr. Brockway took time out of his busy schedule to show the children the proper procedures in dental care.
Fulda Mayor Gary Holden remains hospitalized at Worthington Regional Hospital after suffering a heart attack last week.
Fulda High School seniors Mark Bjerke and Brent Miller are winners in the Lettering for Excellence program.
Julie Olsem and David Handy have been nominated for the Triple A award.
Two Fulda High School seniors, Chris Bolton and Jennifer McNeil are currently taking the EMT course being offered in Fulda.
The quality of Fulda's water has been a topic of discussion around town recently, but sample tests reveal that Fulda's water meets Minnesota Department of Health standards. The complaints include bad odor and taste of the water. City crewmen Sanow state there are three likely causes of the odorous water: softening, magnesium rods in hot water heaters and buildup in pipes of dead-end lines. The water mains will be flushed once a month to help relieve the buildup problem.
