Teams were chosen and one team member was blindfolded,  and dressed in snowboots and great big snow gloves. That person then had to attempt to make baskets with a basketball!  Sierra Steiner, Andy Oakland, and Travis Swanson.

Fulda Public Schools’ students began last week in a celebratory mood as they entered FHS Winterfest Week!

Monday was celebrated as class color day with seniors wearing black, juniors in white, sophomores in pink, freshman in orange, 8th graders in greens and 7ths grade students in brown.

Tuesday was Salad Dressing Day with seniors and freshman dressing in western wear (Ranch); juniors and eighth dressed in blue representing bleu cheese; and sophomores and seventh dressed in Hawaiian (thousand Island).

Wednesday found large groups of students dressed as similarly as possible for multiplicity day.

Thursday was Geeks versing Jocks and Friday was Red and Black day.

At 1 p.m. on Friday, the Winterfest Games began with the Blizzard Relay, Droppin’ the Ball,a nd Color it White. Other games were the Abominable Snowman, Beat the Snowman, and Snowball Toss, as well as the M & M Challenge, Quidditch, and Tug of War.

Candidates were chosen from each class to be the Winterfest King and Queen. It had been mandatory that each canddate participate on a day-to-day basis in the Wintefest Dress-up Days. Seniors Laura Williams and Kole Kramer were chosen as the Winterfest Queen and King. Winners of the FHS Winterfest Raider Time Activities was the Kelm/Haberman Team. They are pictured above.
