Yo-Yo Man John Fox of Seattle, Washington visited Fulda Elementary School last week. Through the many yoyo tricks that he did, he explained the importance of school, studying, and learning.

He told a story about YoYo working for Bill Gates. Bill Gates sent YoYo to school to learn. A series of events followed his math education where he was able to fly an airplane and see many differents things.

His learning included social studies, spelling, math, reading, sciences, physical education, and music. Through it all, YoYo learned that school is an awesome place because “You bring your brain to school and you learn something new every single day,” Fox stated.

YoYo Man Fox continued to show a variety of yoyo tricks as he encouraged the students to be good listeners. “Because, if you don’t listen, you don’t learn,” he cautioned.

Karter Magnussen and Payton Marquardt were called upon to help the YoYo Man perform a trick or two. They helped him by learning to curtsy to the audience when the audience was pleased with their performance, as well as to walk the dog and play fetch with the dog (all yoyo tricks).
