Fulda School Board starts contract negotiations

In the consent agenda five were approved The position of summer school paraprofessional which included Taylor Tuin, Tori Zimmerman, Mary Ann Sieverding, Lori Bakken and Jackie Hieronimus. Randy Kremer, Allison Winter and Mitch Winter were hired for summer custodial work. Dean McNeal and Randy Kremer were hired for summer lawn mowing. Jessica Hogan was hired as the summer recreation coordinator. The following were hired for community education-summer recreation, Brittny Hermeling, Courtney Hulstein, Todd Peterson and Alex Hein.

St. Gabriel's Church will lease three rooms at $25 per room, per day for one year totaling $2,475.00.

Jessica Mitchell, Community Education, Lisa Staples, Administrative Bookkeeper, Jennifer Gerdes, Payroll Clerk/Administrative Assistant and Lori Goedtke, Accounts Payable Clerk/Principal's Secretary/AD Secretary requested the negotiation of their respective contracts.

Matthew Saxman was hired as a secondary teacher for new school year

Kelsey Carlson-Klassen will resign as Ag teacher at the end of the current school year.

One student will open enroll to the Westbrook-Walnut Grove district.

The Fulda Education Association have started negotiations with the district for the 2013-2015 school years. 40 K-12 teachers are represented.
