City to bond for million dollar water treatment plant and tower repair

Fulda City Council
The Fulda City Council will bond for $1,000,000.00 for fifteen years which will cost $170,348.33 in interest and fees. A resolution 2013-02 was passed to start the process relating to the issuance of general obligation water revenue bonds

Tammy Omdal of Northland Securities explained the complicated procedures needed to change the Wood Duck Addition TIF district, opening lot purchases to all buyers. The bounds would need to be paid before the TIF district would end.

The council approved updated job description for pay equity issues.

Approval was given to the Wood Duck Festival for a fireworks display. The council also approved the use of property next to the Wood Duck Addition for a Bull Riding event during the festival.

The city will be installing new banners on the light poles.

The city approved two building permits, one for Marty Koster for a kennel and the other for a fence for Nate Holden. Another permit for stairs was tabled for more information.

The next regular meeting is June 3 starting 6:30 pm for a public variance hearing and 7:00 PM for a Public Hearing on a a USDA Rural Development Grant.
