A tragedy occurred Sunday afternoon on Highway 59 when two cars collided. Driving the cars were Virgil Klosterman and Vic Hendel. Mrs. Klosterman and her mother, Mrs. Aloys Nepper died outright in the accident. Ten-year-old Donna Klosterman was also in the car and is in fair condition as is her father. Mr. and Mrs. Hendel are both in the hospital and listed in fair condition.

After 26 years in the teaching and coaching professions, John Bunkers has decided to leave the field of education to enter the business world. Mr. Bunkers and his family are relocating to Watertown where he will work as a Broker for the Edward D. Jones Company.
A car, driven by Marion Frerk of Fulda, went out of control last Friday afternoon, skidding down Front Street coming to rest in the west side of Great Plains Supply building on Lafayette Avenue. The throttle of the vehicle stuck causing the car to go out of control. Mrs. Frerk was unharmed.
Rock Koepsell, 50 Fulda Elementary Physical Education teacher for the last 15 years died unexpectedly last Friday after a short stay at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
The City Slickers defeated the Farmers 4 to 3 in the donkeyball game held Tuesday evening. The donkeys behaved in true donkey form, either not moving or moving the wrong way.
The Fulda School Board has called a special meeting for June 30th to review the Community Education program.
