Cooperative Energy Company and Hogan Oil, LLC, are joining forces to bring a cardtrol fueling station to Fulda. The two prominent area fuel suppliers are constructing the state-of-the-art station on the east side of town on US Highway 59, and they anticipate that HWY 59 Fuel Stop will be opening soon.

HWY 59 Fuel Stop will have easy access for cars and trucks and will have available two grades of diesel fuel, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), and two grades of gasoline.

Both companies are happy to meet the needs of their current loyal customers and encourage anyone who would like to do chargeable fuel purchasing at the new cardtrol facility to contact Gary Hogan, Hogan Oil, LCC at (507) 360-1810 or Bernie Ahlberg, Cooperative Energy's credit manager at 1-800-342-7360 to obtain the appropriate paperwork to open an account with HWY 59 Fuel Stop.

Anyone who currently holds a Cooperative Energy Company (CEC) card and has an open account will be able to utilize their current card at this new facility. If they are a member of CEC, they will continue to earn patronage dividends at HWY 59 Fuel Stop based upon the number of gallons purchased. There is also the opportunity for new cardholders to become a member of Cooperative Energy Company for a $10 membership fee, thereby making their purchases eligible for patronage dividends.

Hogan Oil, LLC has been in business in the area for over 35 years, and owner/operator Gary Hogan says, “This is a great opportunity to join forces and bring a beautiful facility to Fulda and the surrounding area. This is something I have been wanting to do and when things came together for this facility, it seemed like a win-win situation for everyone.”

Brian Dreessen, General Manager of Cooperative Energy says, “This joint venture and investment in the community of Fulda and its surrounding area is a positive approach to the future of both CEC and Hogan Oil. We've known for a couple of years that we needed to update to meet all the new requirements, and this just made the decision a 'no-brainer'!”

HWY 59 Fuel Stop will be accessible for fuel 24-7 with a company card or any major credit card. HWY 59 Fuel Stop looks forward to serving the energy needs in the Fulda area.
