Pick graduates from basic military training

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Adam R. Pick graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Pick is the son of Walter Pick of Lime Lake Drive, Avoca, Minn., and Pamela Pick of North Pikes Peak Circle, Sioux Falls, S.D.

He is a 2006 graduate of MOC-Floyd Valley High School, Orange City, Iowa. He received a bachelor's degree in 2010 from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa.
