Two FFA members from the Fulda FFA chapter attended the State Leadership Conference for Chapter Leaders, July 14th-17th. Over 180 total FFA members from across the state met at the Deep Portage Conservation Reserve in Hackensack, Minnesota to attend the conference.

Student, Chapter and Community Development were the focus of the conference as FFA members worked to develop programs and opportunities to ensure achievement in their local programs and enhance FFA experience. Sessions were presented by the six Minnesota FFA State Officers and eight Regional Presidents including topics on healthy lifestyles, recruitment, public relations, fundraising and community service.

FFA members participated in hands-on activities, role playing, and applying personal experiences to better understand professional practices. In addition to developing these essential skills, Chapter Leaders members had the chance to meet FFA members from across the state of Minnesota.

From the Fulda FFA Chapter Sydney Cuperus and Suzanne Pagel attended the four day conference.

The National FFA Organization is the premier leadership organization in the nation with 540,379 members in all fifty states, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
