Jonathon Curry, Social Studies
2006 graduate of New ulm High School, New Ulm, Minnesota, Jonathon Curry is the new Social Studies teacher at Fulda High School.
He attended St. Olaf College, in Northfield, Minnesota, where he received a Social Studies Education degree.
Student teaching for Curry was fulfilled at Farmington, MN.
His first full-time teaching position was at Medford, Minnesota. Teaching at Medford for three years, Curry was the offensive coordiantor for the football team, coached ninth grade basketball and JV baseball. Last summer, he started the Legion Baseball program in Medford.
He found the Fulda Social Studies position listed while searching teaching jobs in southwest and south central part of Minnesota. I remembered the Fulda FCCLA powerhouse from competitions. I also have friends who are from Fulda who have talked about living here, going to school and growing up here, Curry shared.
