Fulda Community Blood Drive Scheduled

October 30, 2013

Community Blood Bank is a joint cooperative venture of Sanford Medical Center and Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
There will be a community blood drive held on Friday, November 1 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at the Fulda Community Center. All blood types are in need.

“This fall community blood drive will help ensure that blood is available for all types of surgeries, traumas, burn and cancer patients,” states Ken Versteeg, Executive Director, Community Blood Bank. “When you donate blood on November 1st at the Fulda Community Center you are helping local patients in their time of need. Your donations will make blood readily available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We encourage new donors as well as those donors that have donated multiple times to give the gift of life.”
