The goal of the program is to not only help the children physically, but also to share the message of Jesus Christ and help them spiritually as well.
On Monday, November 11th, the students and staff at St. Paulís Lutheran School gathered together in the gymnasium to prepare their Operation Christmas Child boxes for transportation to a local distribution site. The students and their families had the option to participate in the Operation Christmas Child service program this year.

Students were given boxes the green and red Operation Christmas Child boxes to pack full of items for needy children around the world. Operation Christmas Child program distributes food and clothing along with the gift boxes. The goal of the program is to not only help the children physically, but also to share the message of Jesus Christ and help them spiritually as well.

Last year, gift boxes were delivered to over 7.9 million children across the world. As part of learning about the affects of participating in Operation Christmas Child, students watched a video showing the boxes being delivered to children during the 2012 Christmas. The students really enjoyed being able to help other children around the world have a better Christmas filled with the saving Gospel message of Jesus Christ.
