November 17th
On Sunday, November 17th, First Presbyteiran Church congregation had an Operation Christmas Child packing party after worship where members of the congregation donated items to fill the shoeboxes and we all packed them together. In total, we packed 53 boxes! These boxes will be delivered to suffering children in various countries around the world using whatever means necessary —trains, airplanes, boats, elephants, bikes and even dog sleds!

Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has collected more than 100 million shoebox gifts and delivered them to needy children.

Operation Christmas Child is a project of international Christian relief and evangelism organization Samaritan’s Purse, headed by Franklin Graham. It is the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind. For many of these children, the shoebox gift will be the first gift they have ever received.

Anyone can participate in Operation Christmas Child.
