Opening of “The Corral Supper Club” began Friday evening with the grand opening being held on Sunday afternoon. New owners, Mr. and Mrs. Brad Molitor are to be congratulated on a fine remodeling job. We wish them success in their new business.
A little furnace trouble a few weeks ago made it necessary to give the Fulda Hotel a face lift. Owner Bill Kuehl has cleaned and painted nearly every room and has added a new colored TV for the roomers entertainment.
Plans have now been completed for an addition to the Fulda Junior-Senior High School. The new addition will consist of an extension of the East wing to the north, a new business education department and three new classrooms.
Mike Lanoue will undergo hip surgery in St. Paul this week.
Pauline Ann Gerhard is engaged to Michael Fisher. A September wedding is planned.
Mary Ann Kent is engaged to Sp. 4 Michael J. Collins. A June 27th wedding is being planned in Indiana.
George Angermeier passed away on February 14th after a three and a half week illness. Mr. Angermeier was 83 years old.
Albert Schweigert, 73 passed away from a heart attack at his home on Tuesday afternoon.
Joe Fried passed away early Tuesday morning from a heart attack at the age of 51 years old.

The Fulda City Council held a special meeting last Wednesday to discuss the employee wages, negotiations, and LeTourneau contract.
The Fulda city crew had their hands full again this week with 12 new inches of snow to move.
Murray County will receive $22,126 as its share of the 41,977,881 in 1984 township bridge funds allocated to qualifying counties. In addition, for the first time Murray County town roads account will receive $55,844 as its share of the $3,659,080.
Maurice Odenbrett found the Cabin Fever Days medallion in the Fulda City Park last Tuesday.

Five Fulda High School music students performed at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis last weekend at the Minnesota Music Educators Midwinter Clinic. Sarah Ruesch, choir, Steven Hawkinson, Brad Wieskus, Alicia Hart and Adam Van Oort, band, spent the better part of Friday rehearsing for the Saturday performance.
Dave Jones, fossil specialist, spent time with Fulda Boy Scout Troop #123 last Thursday speaking on historic fossil remains and bringing with him a replica of one of his own fossil finds.
Jenny Koopman was selected as this year's FFA Chapter Sweetheart during a program on Friday morning at the Fulda High School.
Mitch Winter is among the FLA students presenting a program called CHOICES (Choosing Healthy Options in Critical and Everyday Situations) to first graders.
Gen Stewart is giving St. Paul's Lutheran School sixth-graders some expert help in their ceramic class. The students are making their own mugs.
