Girls and boys play well
Girls results

Last Monday Hills-Beaver Creek and Pipestone traveled to Fulda to play in very nice conditions. It had been 11 days since a match could be played so the girls were ready for some action. And ready they were as they scored their seasonís best by shooting a 195. Pipestone scored 230 and HBC didnít have a complete team. Caitlin Strenge shot the best round of her career with a 46 as she had two pars and 4 bogeys with three double-bogeys to complete a very fine round. Caitlin earned medalist honors for her effort. Brittany Leinen earned the second place medal with a very nice round of 47 (her best this season, also) as Brittany had one par and 6 bogeys. Brittanyís career best is 44 which she achieved a couple times last season. Freshman Claire Westra also shot her seasonís best with a 48 earning her first birdie in a match for her career on hole 8 along with a par and two bogeys and no major trouble. Katie Reynolds earned the fourth scoring spot with a 54 as she started out with two rough holes but then played some real nice golf. Tatym Zins shot a 59 and Nicole Sauer had water trouble and out of bounds concerns with a 63. Savannah Klosterman won the junior varsity medal with a round of 59 and Katy Hakeneis carded a 63. Boys results

Monday afternoon the Fulda Boys Golf team finally got back out on the course in Fulda with a Triangular against Pipestone and Hills-Beaver Creek. Overall in the team score Pipestone took first with a score of a 178, followed by Fulda with a 190 and HBC third with a 194. Individually, Cole Dierks took home medalist round with a season best 39 on the day. He had 1 birdie and 6 pars on his phenomenal round. Justin Dierks followed behind him with a 46 on the day with 2 pars and 4 bogeys. Joey Voss carded a round of 52 with 2 pars and 2 bogeys on the round. Brandon Everett rounded out the scoring on the day with a 53 with 1 par and 2 bogeys. Also competing on varsity was Jason Van Dyke and Aron Hulstein who both came in with rounds of 54 on the day. Overall, for not being out on the course for a week it was not a bad day. The Raiders move their match record to 4-5 on the season. They will compete in an 18 hole invitational today at Westbrook beginning at 1.
