The Minnesota American Legion Legacy Scholarship Run motorcycle riders stopped in Fulda on Saturday. They presented American Legion Post #318 Commander, Jim Troje, with a thank you award for the money that the Post donated to the Fund in 2013.

Commander Troje, along with Heinie Magnus and Doyle Abrahamson, presented the riders with $200.00 to be used towards the next round of scholarships.

During the first two weekends in August, Minnesota American Legion members ride for the Legacy Scholarship Run, covering southern and northern Minnesota. The money that they raise goes to scholarships for kids who have had a parent pass away while serving in the military since Setember 11th, 2001.

This year marks the fifth anniversary of the Minnesota Legacy Scholarship Run. The goal is to eventually raise $20 million across the nation to aid in continuing to support the Legacy Scholarship Fund for years to come.
