Putting the ball in play often with lots of timely hitting, the visiting Adrian Dragons earned a one-sided 12-3 victory over Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda in a Red Rock Conference high school varsity baseball game at Heron Lake’s Laker Field last Tuesday, May 14.
The win by the Dragons, finished out Adrian’s conference record with a final record of 6-4, while the Coyotes fell to 2-7 in the league and became 3-10 for the season with their ninth straight loss. Two of those defeats were by just one run, including a 3-2 loss to Adrian there on April 23.
