In a closely-contested high school girls basketball B-Squad game, played at Ellsworth, back on December 20, the host Adrian / Ellsworth Dragons claimed a 29-23 victory over Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda.
The score was tied (15-15) at halftime, but the Dragons outscored the Coyotes by a 14-8 spread after intermission. Six girls scored in the contest for HLOF, including a team-leading 12-point performance by sophomore guard Faith White (one three pointer, four two-point field goals, one free throw).
