Creating several turnovers and running the floor extremely well, the Southwest Christian Eagles jumped out to a 42-21 halftime lead and captured a 75-30 victory over the Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes in a Red Rock Conference high school girls’ basketball game last Friday night (February 14) in Fulda.
SWC, which improved to 20-5 overall and is 13-2 in the conference (second place, behind Hills-Beaver Creek), outscored HL-O/F (4-21, 4-11) 33-9 in the second half.
“SWC showed why they are one of the best teams in the area,” Coyotes head coach Andy Oakland said. “They push tempo and run the floor so well. They also move really well without the ball, they don’t over dribble, and they pass really well.”
