Edible Book Festival delights attendees with 13 entries

Those who attended this year’s Edible Book Festival, sponsored by Fulda Memorial Library, were delighted to learn that there were thirteen entries – all which had been creatively designed according to a book that had been chosen by the designers.

Votes were put in place by those in attendance and the winners were as follows:

• People’s Choice Award: That’s Not My Mermaid, by Carlos and Giselle Meza

• Best Business Entry: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, by Maple Lawn Nursing Home

• Best Team Entry: The Hobbit House, by the Appel Family

• Best Child Prodigy Entry: If You Give a Pig a Pancake, by Annilee Burch

• Punniest: Oliver Twist, by Alabama Hoonhorst and Avery Winter

• Most Bookish: The False Prince, by Eileen Heintz
