With increased numbers and plenty of “energized excitement,” the first-year pairing of Heron Lake-Okabena and Fulda for high school girls’ basketball is ready to swing into action this weekend with a home game (at HL-O’s gymnasium in Okabena) on Saturday, November 24.

The afternoon’s triple-header, beginning with C-Squad game at noon, will be played against the visiting Lakeview Lakers, who represent the communities of Cottonwood and Wood Lake. The B-Squad game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start with the varsity game following at approximately 2:30 p.m.

The Coyotes will be back on the floor again next Tuesday evening (November 27) with a Red Rock Conference game against the Ellsworth Panthers, also at Okabena and also in triple-header fashion with a junior high contest starting at 5 p.m. — followed by B-Squad action at 6 and the varsity game at 7:30 p.m.
