Fulda City Council accepts resignation of Public Works Supervisor Neil Frodermann

Mayor John Maertens opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and the council approved the bills. Resolution 2019-01 accepted the resignation of councilmen Chad Ouellette and then handed the gavel over to Chad Ouellette as the new elected mayor. Councilpersons elect Ann Witzel and  Jim Elsing we’re sworn in Jim brown and Randy Dierks were appointed into the remaining open seats.

Annual designations were made in resolution 2019-4 and were approved. The following designations for 2019 are:

The official newspaper of the City of Fulda shall be the Fulda Free Press.

The official depositories of the City of Fulda shall be First National Bank and Fulda Area Credit Union.

The City Attorney for legal advising, litigation and prosecutions shall be Larry Lucht.

The Acting Mayor who shall preside and perform duties in the absence of the mayor shall be Jim Brown.

The City Auditor for the City of Fulda shall be Bradley R. Bergerson, CPA.
