During the Fulda City Council monthly meeting held on Monday evening, the city’s 2018 budget was approved at a 3.30 percent levy.
Lucas Isder spoke in open forum regarding his idea of a location, along with preliminary plans, for an additional park. He expressed that he sees Fulda’s portrait as a beautiful area with loons, eagles, ducks and geese on the lakes, as well as a great place for fishing and other recreational activities. He asked for a committee to be formed to investigate the possibilities of a park and was instructed by city council members to proceed with organizing a committee. One of the city council members will also be a member of the committee.
Chuck Lursen was also present for open forum and asked if it was possible to have children at play signs posted on the street near his home. After discussing the design of the street, and the speed at which it can be safely driven, Lursen’s request was denied.
