tly, questionnaires were mailed to the candidates running for the Fulda mayoral seat and the open City Council seats. Elections will be held to fill these public offices on Tuesday, November 8th, 2016.
Questions included on the questionnaire were:
1. Please give your name, number of years in area, family members, hobbies and any other information you would like to include.
2. What position are you running for and why? (City or School Board, Number of Years in Term, platform, reason for running) – ideas and projects you wish to see accomplished?
3. What do you consider your best qualifications for the position being sought (experience, community involvement, etc.)?
4. What do you think is the biggest issue facing the area at this time and how would you consider solving the issue?
The following information was submitted by each candidate.
The current mayor for the City of Fulda is Chad Ouellette. City Council members are Ron Kellen, Tim Roberts, Jim Troje, and Jim Brown. A special election is being held to fill a two-year term on the Fulda City Council. The seat is being vacated by Councilman Ron Kellen.
Four-year term seats that are open for election are held by Jim Troje and Jim Brown.
