The Fulda City Council met Tuesday, July 5, for their regular meeting. The city will be seal coating ten city blocks this year at a cost of $21,800.
A new manhole will be considered for Front Street that would give access to cleaning the sewer line. Cost of the project will be sought.
Davis Street will be dust coated this year at a cost of $920.00. The city will purchase a used truck from the state.
Police Chief Paul Kenney was very appreciative for the gratis services of Vickie Engelkes and Grothe Janitorial Service for cleaning the squad car after a passenger was sick.
In new business, the council approved a gambling permit for the Oak Ridge Gobblers Banquet. The Town & Country Golf Club was approved for pull tabs thru the Fulda Legion.
Building permits were approved for Don Tiesler for replacing deck for a larger one and one for replacing driveway with a wider one, Staples oil for a new office building, Craig Holmes for a five foot high fence, Curt Brinkman to cover existing steps.
The next regular meeting will be Monday, August 1, at 7:00 p.m.
