The Fulda City Council signed the rental agreement with Nobles Cooperative Electric for street lights in the city. The current lighting will gradually be switched over to LED lighting. The monthly rent charge is $11 plus power cost per light. The city has ninety poles. The cooperative will install and maintains the lights.
The city council agreed to continue with their sewer cleaning program. The next quarter to be done would be the southwest part in the city.
The council had a discussion about tennis courts, moving the basketball court, and the future of the fire hall. A new fire hall has been long needed and considered and there are plans to place it separately from other city buildings. The discussion will continue at future meetings.
