Neil Simon’s comedy, The Odd Couple, is coming to the stage at Fulda on Friday and Saturday, March 16 and 17 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 18, at 1 p.m. Performances will be held in the gymnasium at Fulda Elementary School.
About The Odd Couple, Fulda Community Players director, Dwayna Paplow, said, “When their respective marriages fall apart, sarcastic Oscar Madison invites uptight Felix Ungar to move in with him. It quickly becomes obvious that Felix’s neat-freak ways are at odds with Oscar’s sloppy habits. Their friendship is put to the test as they try to move on from their past lives. Can they make a new life for themselves – whatever their difference?”
The two main actors in the play are Alex Carney, Slayton, as Oscar Madison and Dale Sandberg, Fulda, as Felix Unger. Their poker buddies include Joel Eide as Murray, Windom, Matt Saxman as Speed, Fulda, Dan Uttech, Fulda, as Vinnie, and Dwayna Paplow, Fulda, as Roy. Local actresses are Heidi Appel, Fulda, and Eden Bengston, Slayton, who play the parts of the Pigeon sisters, Gwendolyn and Cecily.
