This year the students in Mrs. Lorenz and Mrs. Baumann’s 3rd and 4th grade classrooms came up with the idea to help spread Christmas cheer to sick children who are in the Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls. Instead of doing a class gift exchange, the students decided to donate toys to children in the hospital. There are many children who end up spending Christmas in the hospital and the students decided to help them have a Merry Christmas by bringing gifts to them. The students are going to bring in gifts throughout the month of December and then deliver them to Sanford Children’s Hospital and sing Christmas carols on Dec. 21st.
