Fulda Elementary School hosted an American Cancer Society Relay Recess Week dduring April 3rd through April 7th. The students raised $204.00 for Murray County Relay for Life.
During the week, physical education teacher Mary Brake and the classroom teachers had the opportunity to share with students the importance of making healthy choices about tobacco, physical activity, nutrition, and sun exposure. The Relay Recess program provides important cancer prevention information that can aid in reducing the risk of being diagnosed with cancer.
