Fulda FFA Chapter Corn Drive for True Friends-Camp Courage

On Wednesday, October 25th, members of the Fulda FFA Chapter will conduct a Corn Drive for True Friends-Camp Courage. Camp Courage is a Minnesota camp that gives children and adults with disabilities an opportunity of a lifetime.

Minnesota FFA chapters have been taking part in the “Corn for Camp Courage” corn drive for over 60 years. FFA chapters throughout Minnesota hold corn drives to raise funds which are then donated to True Friends, the parents company of Camp Courage.

True Friends offers an array of camps to adults and children with disabilities. With five different locations and three different camping options, they annually serve 4,000 clients. One of the camps offered is Camp Courage in Maple Lake, which is where the Fulda FFA chapter donates their funds.

Since 1953 Minnesota FFA chapters have donated more than $5 million. Over the years, with the generous support of area farmers, the Fulda FFA chapter has donated $30,137.63.
