FULDA PUBLIC SCHOOL BOARD OF EDUCATION SPECIAL MEETING Monday, August 27th 2018 – 7:30 P.M.

The Board of Education meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chairperson, Don Tiesler.
Members present were Phil Kramer, Don Tiesler, Kayla Clarke, Stan Kramer, Brian VanderBeek and Jason Appel. Absent was Theane Pagel. Others present were Superintendent Loy Woelber, Steph Strenge, Norma Dittman, Luke Isder, Davina Ethridge, Principal Mike Pagel, Athletic Director Colby Pack, Elizabeth Stapek and Troy Stapek.
Motion by Brian VanderBeek, seconded by Kayla Clarke to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried.
Open Forum – Luke Isder mentioned that we should consider someone local and/or invested in the community for any positions open in the school.
Motion by Phil Kramer, seconded by Stan Kramer to approve medical leave for Julie Lorenz beginning on September 4, 2018. Motion carried.
Motion by Kayla Clarke, seconded by Phil Kramer to approve resignation of Tyson Walker as High School Principal. Motion carried.
Motion by Stan Kramer, seconded by Phil Kramer to approve moving Mike Pagel to K-12 Principal. Motion carried.
Motion by Kayla Clarke, seconded by Brian VanderBeek to approve moving Grant Harms to half-time Assistant Elementary Principal/half-time teacher. Motion carried.
Motion by Brian VanderBeek, seconded by Stan Kramer to approve a half-time leave of absence for Grant Harms for teacher portion of contract. Motion carried.
