The Fulda girls golf team took to the golf course twice this past week, hosting WWG and RRC on Tuesday, and heading to Adrian for a quad on Thursday with WWG, Adrian, and HBC. Tuesday afternoon we finished with a 246 as a team finishing in 3rd place behind RRC 222 and WWG 216.
Lynneigh Vrooman continued her nice streak of great golf with a medalist round of 47 on the day. Her consistent round consisted of 7 bogeys and 2 double bogeys.
Amber Breuker had her best round of the year by shooting a 51 and Cassi Holinka shot a 63.
Thursday afternoon on a nice day in Adrian, the girls shot a very nice round of 212 and narrowly won the 4 team quad. WWG girls shot a 213, Adrian shot a 217, and HBC was Incomplete on the day.
Lynneigh Vrooman was again low shooter for Fulda finishing 2nd place overall with a 49 with 6 bogeys.
Emily Schroer had a par and two bogeys and shot a 51.
Tayler Warborg had 3 bogeys en route to a season best 52 for her.
Cassi Holinka came in with a 60 to help secure the victory for our girls on the day.
With the week’s results the girls now have a season record of 9-6 and will take part in an 18 hole invite on Tuesday at WWG to start gearing up for the postseason. Then on Thursday we will host HLO. Hopefully we can continue our consistent scoring and be ready to go come post season.
