The Raider girls team took to the course twice this past week with both being far from ideal golf conditions. Even with the harsh conditions, some nice rounds were able to come in.
Thursday afternoon on a cold and windy day, we headed to Slayton to take on the Rebels and HBC. The girls shot a 261 while MCC won with a 216 and HBC was Incomplete.
Lynneigh Vrooman carded the best round for Fulda with a 56 on the round that consisted of 1 bogey and 5 double bogeys.
Emily Schroer followed right behind her with a 59 followed by Tayler Warborg a 61.
Lexi Freese rounded out the scoring with an 84.
MCC’s Abby Hamman won medalist honor with a round of 49 followed by Amber Boock 2nd with a 52.
Friday on a bit nicer day, we headed to Windom to take on the Eagles. The girls shot much more consistent on their rounds this day but fell to a very nice Windom squad 210-226.
Lynneigh Vrooman continued her consistent year with a season best round of 47 which consisted of 1 par and 6 bogeys.
Amber Breuker shot a 56 with 2 bogeys and 3 double bogeys.
Tayler Warborg shot a 59 with 1 bogey and 4 double bogeys, and Lexi Freese shot her best round of the year with a 64 with 1 bogey on the round.
The Raiders are now 6-4 in duals on the year and will continue play Tuesday when they travel to Westbrook.
