Fulda Raider volleyball team goes 1-2 last week

The Luverne Cardinals proved why they are one of the top teams in this corner of the state when they came into Fulda Monday night and swept the hometown Raiders. The Cardinals won by scores of 25-7, 25-10 and 25-17. Camryn Baumhoefner led the Raiders with nine kills and three digs. Emily Schroer had 12 set assists and Camille Paulzine added six digs.

The Raiders were back at home again Tuesday night in a Red Rock Conference match up hosting HL-O. Strong games from Hailey Liepold and Kiana Leighty helped the Wildcats sweep the Raiders, 25-10, 25-16, and 25-19. Liepold had 12 kills while Leighty added 11 kills. Fulda was led by Camryn Baumhoefner, five kills and three digs. McKenzie Evers added five digs.

Thursday night Fulda traveled to Ellsworth to finish off their week with another conference matchup against the Panthers. In desperate need of a win, the Raiders came out ready to play and used strong serving to sweep Ellsworth by scores of 25-21, 25-13, and 25-20. Camryn Baumhoefner again led the way with 10 kills, four digs, and three aces. Allison Kenney had five kills and five aces. Emily Schroer added 18 set assists. The Raiders will host Edgerton Tuesday night and will travel to Adrian Thursday night for two big Red Rock Conference games.
