The Heron Lake-Okabena Wildcats earned a 3 set sweep (25-23, 25-23, 25-17) over the Raiders Thursday night in Okabena.
The Wildcats had multiple contributions on the night. Kiana Leighty (13 digs), Sarah Madsen, and Brianna Hinkeldey led the Wildcats with 10, 9, and 8 kills. Brooke Freking (8 digs) and Tessla Crowell (12-12 serving, 2 aces) finished the match with 15 and 14 set assists.
The Raiders were led by Bailey Wagner and Camryn Baumhoefner at the net both tallying 4 blocks with 5 and 4 kills respectively. Randi Tiesler also charted 4 kills for the Raiders who now drop to 2-13 on the season.
Fulda will be back home for both games this week, with Ellsworth on Tuesday night with Junior Varsity starting at 6:00 and Adrian on Thursday night with C-squad starting at 4:45.
