A letter dated May 3, 2016, received by Fulda mayor, Chad Ouellette, states that Fulda City’s application for a 2016 Minnesota Small Cities Development Program grant was approved for funding in the amount of $425,500.00. The grant is pending the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development’s (DEED) expected award from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Fulda is one of four area communities who have been approved for housing rehabilitation grants. Throughout Minnesota, 32 Minnesota communities receive $17.87 million in grant monies.
