We would like to invite you or your group to participate in our third annual Table Cancer event. It will be held on Saturday, April 13th, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fulda Legion/Community Center.
The following describes how the event happens and takes place:
You are the hostess and you are given eight tickets with one of those tickets free to you. You sell the other seven, inviting friends, relatives or co-workers to join you.
You choose a theme based around the dishes that you want to use, or a theme that you would like to decorate your table with – be as simple or elaborate as you would like. You will need to include silverware, coffee cups and glasses, as well as salt and pepper. As hostess, you can dress up to complete your theme.
The meal will be served on a disposable plate.
If you wish to serve an alcoholic beverage, you are welcome to do so.
Table favors for your guests are an option.
We ask you to write a paragraph about your table that we may share with the other guests who will be viewing the table. Please submit the paragraph no later than Monday, April 1st.
Tables may be set-up on Friday evening after 5 p.m. and on Saturday morning. However, your table needs to be completed by 10 a.m. Saturday morning.
At 11 a.m., you and your guests are welcome to come and view all of the tables.
A drawing for gift baskets will be held, with tickets for the drawing available for purchase upon arrival at the Table Cancer event.
Luncheon will be served at noon with the drawings to follow.
