Following a lengthy discussion about the boiler replacement options for Fulda High School, offered by Apex Facility Solutions, Fulda School Board approved a motion to move forward with the boiler and mainline pipe replacement.
Also approved was a non-teaching contract with Emma Woelber who will be a part-time driver for the District; a non-teaching contract with Jessica Mitchell who is serving as the assistant speech coach; and a non-teaching contract with Susan Collin who will be working as a paraprofessional in the District.
New contracts for administrative bookkeeper Lisa Staples, payroll clerk/superintendent’s secretary Jennifer Gerdes, and accounts payable/principal’s secretary Lori Goedtke were all approved.
Also approved was a new contract with Kindergarten through 12th grade principal, Michael Pagel; and a new contract with assistant elementary principal Grant Harms received approval.
Athletic Director Colby Pack shared that senior Kelsey Fuerstenberg has received the Region AAA award. Fuerstenberg will be honored at the Tuesday night basketball game.
In Principal Pagel’s report was Winterfest, scheduled February 10th through 14th, and continued student participation in Knowledge Bowl, Speech, BPA, FCCLA, FFA, Pep Band, athletics and other in-school organizations.
