Fulda School Board approves state and federal Special Education resolutions

At Monday evening’s meeting of the Fulda Board of Education, Cliff Carmody, Executive Director with the SW/WC Service Cooperative spoke with the School Board about  a resolution for Minnesota State  as well as a federal resolution to fully fund Special Education Services. The resolutions call for “significant increases in federal funding and meaningful special education reforms at the federal and state levels. Both resolutions were approved by the board.

  A contract with Nancy Fischer was approved. Fischer will be the Assistant Track Coach for the 2017-2018 school year.

Jonathon Curry will be the Assistant Baseball Coach.

A resignation from Jessica Hogan was accepted. Hogan has been a lifeguard, summer recreation staff member, and summer recreation coordinator through Fulda Community Education for the past 24 years.

Approval was given for the Coyote athletes to hold a salt sale fundraiser in conjunction with Ramerth Hardware. The salt sale will begin on Tuesday, March 20th.
