Fulda School Board Fulda Public Schools sees 30 pupil increase

During the monthly meeting of the school board, held Monday evening in the Fulda High School Library, Superintendent Loy Woelber confirmed that Fulda Public Schools has a 30 pupil increase for the 2018-2019 school year. He stated that the increase is a positive indicator for the growth of the community and the District.

As one of the items on the agenda, the school board approved the date and time for the annual Truth in Taxation public hearing as Monday, December 10, 2018, 6 p.m., in the Fulda High School Library, located at 410 N. College Avenue.

The members also voted to approve the maximum amount for the preliminary 2018 tax levy payable in 2019.  The levy is down 1.7 percent, according to Superintendent Woelber.

They also approved a renewal quote from IXL Learning, San Mateo, California,  for $4,781.00 for an IXL site license for 375 students. The license aids students in kindergarten through 4th grade with math, students in grades 5 and 6 with math and English and students in grades 7-12 with math, English and science.
