Fulda School Board met in regular session on Monday evening, August 12th, 6 p.m. in the Fulda High School Board Room.
Following a call to order, roll call of attendance, and approval of the agenda, those present listened to a presentation from Ehlers and Associates, presented by Barbie Doyle, Financial Specialist. She had prepared a PowerPoint presentation that included information about a long term facilities maintenance facility levy which would help the District to make any physical repairs and updates that are needed for the buildings and the grounds.
For the levy, no voter approval is required and the bonds that would be used are eligible for a 40 percent discount for ag credit. That percentage would increase each year (up to 70 percent) according to 2019 Minnesota legislation.
