Fulda School Board Pool closed until new lifeguards hired

The Fulda School Board met Monday October 10 for their regular meeting. The Consent Agenda was approved which included four open enrollments, one in, three out. The board also approved an agreement to participate in a Cooperate Sponsorship programming for gymnastics for one student with the Worthington School District.

The swimming pool remains closed until new lifeguards are hired. There is a lifeguard class scheduled for November 19-20. Twenty-eight students signed up for the fall session of 4-H Adventures.

Open Gym/Hallway Walking will start on Sunday, November 15.

Two fire drills and one lockdown have been conducted at the Fulda Elementary. Fire Prevention Week Activities are planned for this week. Parent/ Teacher Conferences will be October 17 and 18.

The high school has completed two fire drills and two lockdowns. Three more each will be conducted. A band Chili Feed is scheduled for October 18th. The end of the First Quarter is November 19.

In the Open Fourm three people spoke of the PSEO and the fifteen minute library or computer labs limit. Three parents expressed their side of the issue.
