Fulda students advance to National FCCLA Conference

Seven Fulda High School Family, Career and Commnity Leaders of America (FCCLA)  members earned advancement to the National Leadership Conference to be held in Anaheim, California June 30th through July 4th, 2019. Their placements were earned at the Minnesota State Family, Career and Community Leaders of America which was held in Bloomington, MN during the past weekend.

Those who will attend the National Leadership Conference are Brittany Lais, Chrissy Hermeling, Khloe Gehl, Emily Madison, Kelsey Fuerstenberg, Jaxson Tiesler and Brandon Clausen.

Emily Madison and Chrissy Hermeling teamed together for the Chapter Service Project Display Junior Category and completed the Holiday Food Box project. For this project, the team organized project that allowed several area family to receive a much needed Holiday Food Box.

In the  Chapter Service Project Display Senior Category,  Khloe Gehl, Brittany Lais and Kelsey Fuerstenberg organized the Fulda Veterans Day Program.

Brandon Clausen and Jaxson Tiesler worked with National Programs in Action Senior Category and collected many boxes of macaroni and cheese, donating all to the Fulda Food Shelf.

Several other FCCLA members also attended the Minnesota State. More information will be published in next week’s issue of the Fulda Free Press.
