Finishing the first half well, the Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther Jaguars took a 29-22 halftime lead and captured a 50-34 victory over the Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes in a non-conference high school girls’ basketball game last Thursday night (January 30) at Okabena.
HL-O/F competed well for the majority of the first half and was sparked by a trio of early 3-pointers from Chrissy Hermeling, who finished with a team-high nine points and four rebounds.
