Prior to last week, the Coyotes played a trio of competitive games recently against Cedar Mountain (at Morgan, February 4), against Edgerton (at Okabena, February 5) and tangled with Hills-Beaver Creek (at Okabena, February 15).
Madison scored seven points for the Coyotes at Morgan, while Skylar Fisher (six), White (four), Lais (two), Haberman (one) and Cheyliska Schaffer (one) also scored for HLOF in a 37-21 loss.
In a very close game (36-32) against the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen, freshman Chrissy Hermeling played in the first half and bombed in 13 points (connecting on a trio of three-pointers).
White (six) and Reith (four) combined for 10 Coyote points, while Evers, Haberman and Madison each scored three points to account for the other nine. The Coyotes earned a 22-17 halftime lead in this game, but were outscored 19-10 after the break.
Playing a talented H-BC squad on Friday, the 15th, during HL-O’s Winter Fest Week, eight girls scored in the B-Squad game for the Coyotes.
Leading HLOF against the Patriots was White with nine points, followed by Hermeling (seven) and Kilian (five). Madison scored four points, while Evers, Reith, Addison Fisher and Haberman each scored two points for the Coyotes, who trailed by just two (22-20) at intermission.
