The Fulda girls competed at day 1 of the Section 3A golf tournament on Wednesday and came away with a 5th place score of 447.  Windom is the day 1 leader with a score of 417, followed closely behind by HLO with a  425, MCC with a 436, and Hendricks with a 438.

Emily Schroer golfed a very consistent round of 101, which puts her in great position moving to day two of the tournament in which the top 5 individuals not on the team champion will move onto the State Tournament June 13th and 14th.  She currently sits in third place individually as we head towards day 2.  Teammates Lynneigh Vrooman 109, Tayler Warborg 115, and Amber Breuker 122 end their very solid seasons with a respectable 5th place team finish.  The girls have a lot to be proud of and look forward to next year as all 4 of these golfers plus Lexi Freese and Cassi Holinka are underclassmen and look to build off this year’s 2nd place conference finish.
