Day two of the Conference Golf Meet was held Thursday, May 2, with the boys playing in Fulda and the girls at Westbrook. The Conference Meet is held over four days, with all four days counting in the team total. Individual golfers scores are used for two of the first three days, and the final day. This gives the golfers an opportunity to miss one day.
After two days, the Coyotes lead the team scoring with 336, followed by SWC-E with 388.
Cory Renneke led the Coyotes with a 77. Payton Marquardt and Joe Fischer shot 78s. Tyler Madison came in with 86, followed by Ethan Koep (94) and Isaiah Schmid (102).
At Westbroook, the Coyote girls were led by Elly Bang (103). HLOF is in second in the team standings, with 431 (behind MCC’s 410). Lexy Ruesch (106), Meakin Bang (107) and Samantha Freking (114) completed the Coyotes playing on day two of the Conference meet. Kelly Renneke and Arianna Stearns did not golf.
Day three of the Conference meet was Tuesday, May 7, with the final day on Tuesday May 14.
