FULDA — Weeks of planning for a few days of fundraising activities for Trenton Bass culminated in a huge success at Alex Fisher Field last Friday evening, September 29, as many communities in Southwestern Minnesota contributed to the numerous events sponsored by the Fulda School District.
Trenton Bass, a senior at Hills-Beaver Creek High School, was seriously injured in a football game at Mountain Lake on September 8. Partially paralyzed since, Bass is being treated at a rehabilitation center in Denver, Colorado — after spending three weeks at Avera Hospital in Sioux Falls where he had surgery to repair two broken vertebrae in his neck.
Like many area communities, Fulda responded last week in a big way to help Trenton’s family with their mounting medical expenses.
