Harry Potter celebrated Halloween at Fulda Memorial Library

At first glance, visitors to Fulda Memorial Library on Halloween may have thought that Harry Potter was visiting. A second glance would prove that it was not Harry Potter but an exceptional “look-a-like” portrayed by library employee Dwayna Paplow.

A fan of J.K. Rowlings’ Harry Potter book series, Paplow completed her costume with the lightning bolt scar on herforehead and Hedwig, the owl., on her arm. (Hedwig was given to Harry in the book Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The owl was  an eleventh birthday present given by Rubeus Hagrid, who purchases the owl in Diagon Alley at the Eeylops Owl Emporium.)

Many wonderful services are available at Fulda Memorial Library. Stop in for a good book, movie, or game.

Library hours are: Monday – 12-6 p.m., Tuesday – 12 – 5 p.m., Wednesday – 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Thursday – 12 – 6 p.m., Friday – 12 – 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 1.m. to 12 noon.
